Hmmm juz got back home abt a couple of hours ago from town. went to Acid Bar with ari, dan and his fren,brian to catch joel's performance. well, he[joel] sorta invited me to watch his performance and so dere i was. stayed dere for nearly 3hrs - listening to his performance and watching tennis match [venus williams VS davenport] at de same time. de tennis match lasted for abt 2hrs plus and we decided to leave after it ended since ari was getting bored. she wanted to go zouk/phuture.

before i left, he saw me and den waved for me to go over to de couch where he was sitting. he was taking a break from his performance. he looked kinda tipsy from all de drinking and i was quite 'turned off' by it. tsk tsk. we talked for a short while, den i left. saw a couple of local TV celebs at alleybar when i went to de ladies. after dat, we initially wanted to go to zouk/phuture as suggested by ari, but realised it was abit too late to head dere since itz alrdy 1am. so we decided to walk down to shaw house and chill out at Mac instead. while at Mac, we saw many pple queue-ing outside pacific plaza to get into chinablack cuz it was FREE ENTRY night. haha. after abt an hour or so, de Q "disappeared". ari said she wanna go chinablack to have a feel of how itz like since itz free entry. however, when we reached the entrance of pacific plaza, we saw a sign stated "FULL HOUSE". wtf. our hopes are dashed. in the end, i suggested we juz head home since de time is nearly 2am and we are neither here nor dere. nowhere to club. wad an UN-happening night!


anyway, down to de main focus. my feelings abt tonight. his singing wasn't dat fantastic today. i prefer it when he performed at Fish & Co. after tonight, i realised something abt him which irks me greatly. strike 1: he smokes ALOT. strike 2: he drinks ALOT. strike 3: he's a night owl. not de type i really go for. he performs almost every night at restaurants and pubs, so i guess dat explains his kind of lifestyle. like wad dan said, we belong to 2 extremely different lifestyles. and i know clearly dat i definitely can't tolerate such bad habits. social smoker/drinker is still acceptable though. yet, i have alrdy fell for his voice, his singing, HIM. argh. dat is why i was so damn disappointed with tonight. sigh. i'm also very disappointed with myself dat i have misplaced my judgement. luckily, nothing has started so itz still ain't dat hurting 'cept for some disappointment. moreover i'm leaving for overseas soon, so i'm sure i will get over him in no time. haha.
